I made it through the "Blizzard of 78" and was up hill of the flood through central New England in 1955, which was the last big water event in my area. Army Corp of Engineers built two dams a little more than 5 miles away to prevent similar damage in the future. Vermont & IRC parts of NH got hit badly last year. Tornado last year a few towns away & then in Springfield Ma show we can get hammered in this part of the country too.

The generator is here, and gas for 1/2 day if needed. Plenty of candles & batteries for the radio. Food in the fridge, wood to burn if needed. Only one bottle of Scotch, however & no beer.
